Legacy tracks are rare things, born of instinct, chance, and long studio nights chasing that perfect alignment of beats, melody, and mystery. For Cass & Slide, that moment was Perception: a track elevated sonically by Sasha on his seminal Global Underground Ibiza CD and hammered worldwide by many progressive players (large+small), a tune that was positively etched into the collective memory of a generation of clubbers.

Now, 25ish years on, Perception has returned… OurSecretLab_SOUNDS proudly presents the anniversary edition: newly remastered originals plus two brand-new reworks direct from Cass himself — the driving 4by4 Remix and the intentionally fractured Cass is Broken Remix.

Blu_C (OsL_jr04) features in this great film clip for her Dad’s new workouts, celebrating the tune that not only soundtracks content for one of the largest Four Seasons events in their annual calendar (together with mellifluous words from long-time creative partner Woodzy), but also magically closed out Hernan Cattaneo’s magical headline set at the Balance Croatia Festival this year… shut-up, you’re crying. You are, you hear me.
